Electronic Arts Video Racing Games
EA Games are huge. Technically they are in every video game genre and every video game platform available. They are pioneers in video gaming and racing is quite a bit of their empire. With the first Need for Speed game been released in 1994, the company declared a total video game racing domination. Nobody else publishes more racing games than EA. They might not be the ultimate racing simulators, but they have the choice of titles like no other.
Modern video game racing basically started with them. The total hit NFS evolved in probably the most liked game racers aver. The motor sport side of racing is perfectly represented by the Nascar series and the long running Formula One EA series. Although both series weren’t the best the computer gamers had seen, they are still quite a factor in video race simulating.
Again compatibility is the key feature of EA’s hit titles. Unlike the other racing series, theirs work perfect on all platforms: PlayStation2,3, Xbox360, PC, PSP, even mobile phones and gadgets. Great wheel compatibility as well. EA are the universal racing seat simulator solution. They might not be the best gameplay, but they will run with everything. Even your cheap old wheel.
NFS, Nascar and F1 aren’t the only racing solutions EA provide. There are many more, but they are not worth mentioning. After all we talk about video racing here, not just everything that has cars on the cover.
