Ferrari S.p.A. is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello, Italy. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 as Scuderia Ferrari, the company sponsored drivers and manufactured race cars before moving into production of street-legal vehicles in 1947 as Ferrari S.p.A.. Throughout its history, the company has been noted for its continued participation in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has enjoyed great success.
The story is almost the same in video game racing. Ferrari’s presence is everywhere. I don’t think there are many video game titles that do not have at least one Ferrari model in their content. I simply can not list them all because this will be listing all the racing games ever made. Literally.
There are even games especially created for Ferrari. Like the latest from System3 – the Trofeo Pirelli. A game 100% dedicated to the real Tofosi fanatics.
Games isn’t the only field the legendary sport cars manufacturer is loved. Countless are the gaming accessories made with Ferrari’s logos and style lines. Steering wheels, controllers, racing seat simulators, even computers and console editions designed around the prancing horse badge.
Because before all Ferrari means motor racing. There isn’t a better video race adaptation than the legend itself.
